Your local Bowen Doctor, Queens Beach Medical Centre, was opened close to 40 years ago, on the Esplanade at Queens Beach in Bowen.
Initially operating out of a small private residence, we eventually outgrew the tiny clinic in 1994 and relocated to a purpose-built surgery in our current location on Murroona Street, and we have been here ever since. Dr Trezise, our principal and one of the founding doctors, purchased QBMC some 38 years ago and has developed it into a vibrant medical practice with a loyal patient following. Today we are the largest of 4 general practices in the area and have established an extremely strong reputation for being a quality rural general practice that provides exceptional patient care and doctor training.
Located only one street back from the beach, our medical practice is within 5 minutes of the recently expanded Bowen Hospital.
General Practice
Our practice provides preventive care and health education to our patients in addition to the treatment of acute and chronic illnesses .
Skin Cancer and Mole Checks
Our experienced doctors will assess any suspicious lesions or moles. They can perform a range of skin excisions or refer you for further treatment.
Minor Procedures
Our doctors can perform minor surgical procedures, under local anaesthetic, within our dedicated treatment rooms.

Our GPs and nurses offer private consultations in a comfortable setting to help women achieve physical and emotional well being during all stages of life.
