Dr Trezise, MBBS, FACRRM

Dr Tresize has been with the practice from its creation 40 years ago. He has exceptional medical knowledge in all areas of general practice and emergency medicine. He has also mentored and supervised many doctors over the last few decades.


Dr Kyi Yin has been with the practice since the day she started with us back in 2011. She became a Fellow with RACGP in 2013 and has a wealth of experience, having worked in many different parts of the world. Dr Yin also has extensive experience in emergency medicine, gained in her role as the SMO of our local hospital, prior to joining us.

Dr Ramy Ibrahim

Dr Ramy Ibrahim Has Been Practicing Medicine Since 2009. He Started His Career Working At A Cardiology Department For 3 Years.

He Has Been Working As A GP For Over Ten Years Now Including Working In Emergency Departments And GP Practices.

Dr Ibrahim Came To Australia In 2018 When He Started Working As A GP On The Gold Coast, Then Started Also Working In Rural QLD And NSW.

Dr Ibrahim Has An Interest In All General Practice And Family Medicine With A Holistic Approach, With A Special Interest In Skin Cancer Medicine And Surgery, Mental Health And Medicinal Cannabis

He Has Had Advanced Training In Skin Cancer Surgery And Working Towards Full Accreditation By The Skin Cancer College With A Big Number And Experience In Skin Cancer Surgeries Including Flaps And Grafts.

Dr Robert McCubbin

Dr. Rob McCubbin completed both his Bachelor of Science (2013) and Doctor of Medicine (2017) at The University of Melbourne. Rob gained his RACGP fellowship in 2023 whilst living in Melbourne.

He completed a range of hospital rotations in Melbourne with Monash Health, and Western Health, including the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Rob is interested in all aspects of General Practice, and has completed the RANZCOG Certificate of Women’s Health (2021) and The Sydney Child Health Program (2023).
Rob is also a registered provider of Focused Psychological Strategies.

Rob grew up in Gippsland, in regional Victoria, and lived in Melbourne from 2011 to 2023. At the start of 2024 Rob relocated to Bowen to take on a new adventure, and explore North Queensland with his wife, dog and cat. Rob enjoys spending his time off at the beach, along with photography, and cheering on Port Adelaide in the AFL.

Dr Alec Denney – Registrar

Alec is a general practice registrar completing his specialist training with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. After graduating from James Cook University in 2018, he gained a wide range of experience across the Townsville and Mackay Hospital and Health Services.

Alec has a special interest in obstetrics and gynaecology and in 2022, he completed an Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Since, Alec relocated to Bowen with his family and has been working at the Bowen Hospital as a senior medical officer.

Dr Sharujan Sivasubramaniam

Dr Sharujan grew up in Bowen graduating from BSHS in the Class of 2011 and then going on to study medicine at James Cook University. He then completed his fellowship in General Practice with advanced training in Sports Medicine.

He is currently a Club Doctor for Brisbane Roar Football, Brisbane Tigers Rugby League and Assistant Doctor for the NQ Cowboys. He has worked extensively with athletes involved in a range of sports including the NRL, A League, WNBL, Australian Rowing, QLD State Boxing, World Athletics and Cross Country.
